I made this song on my EMU 5000 Ultra and had it mixed in 2010 on the Soundcraft Topaz mixer we used in our studio. The soulful samples are chopped in a Jay Dilla style. I have now added just some little icing to the cake to finish the song: A little bit of bass support from my Moog and some vocal chops. Back then, and still, I love to combine soul vibes with HipHop beats. This track „Fire“ is timeless for me and still banging, although it is almost 12 years old!
